The Engineering Education Foundation of America (EEFA) wants to help fund your education as an engineer or land surveyor; our Scholarship Program awards more than $30000 per year to students pursuing a bachelor's or master’s degree at accredited institutions.*
Students can apply for EEFA scholarships year-round. There will be two Application review periods - 1 in the Spring and 1 in the Fall.
- Applications completed before November 30, 2023, will be eligible for the Fall 2023 Review Period.
- Applicants will be notified of results in late December 2023 / early January 2024.
- The cutoff and notification dates for the Spring 2024 review will be posted in early 2024.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Students must be residents of Minnesota pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in an ABET-accredited engineering program or accredited land surveying program in a Minnesota-based or neighboring state.
- Students must be entering their sophomore, junior, senior or fifth year in the fall of 2023 in a qualifying program.
- Students must be citizens of the United States.
How to Apply:
- Complete the Scholarship Application, including your essay.
- Secure a copy of your official transcript, including your current courses.
- Include a resume with your application – EEFA will keep your resume on file for one year and will be provided upon request to ACEC members.
- If you are completing the Recommendation Form for bonus points, have a trusted advisor complete the form and submit using the link below.
- Incomplete applications will not be considered – please complete all sections of the application and submit all required documents.

- Essay: 33 points
- Cumulative Grade Point Average: 33 points
- Resume (Work Experience & College Activities): 33 points
- Recommendation: +5 points
